He said what?

I went to bed last night after the blog hit 20K page views (yay! Throwing confetti!).  I woke up this AM to 18  PM's on facebook.  All asking and saying pretty much the exact same thing.  He didn't really just go there did he? He didn't threaten to interfere in someone's adoption??? I had no real idea because I hadn't yet seen the exchange that transpired on twitter from after I went to bed.  I also had these screen shots forwarded to me.

I've gone back to twitter to try and sort through the conversation, these are a few other tweets I found... (reversed order so that you can kind of follow conversation... twitter has newest messages at the top)

This is also not the first time he's gone for the throat in such a manner..

I am beyond appalled. No matter how you feel about A4CWSN's business dealings, and no matter what you think about the merit of the lawsuit threats flying around, threatening the welfare of  innocent children--to RIP THEM AWAY FROM A LOVING FAMILY without the slightest bit of remorse because you don't like what they're saying about your iPad quasi-charity? Is completely morally reprehensible.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what either adoption has anything to do with him, or why he would care.

This blog post has been brought to you all by the man who claims to be doing everything he does for the children.

  1. ANY developer, parent, teacher or company that SUPPORTS this man has to also support THIS!!!! Do you REALLY want to be associated with anyone who would threaten children with the demise of their family to prove HIS point?!

  2. This is absolutely disgusting , he is going way to far now. And he is crossing lines he may not want to cross .
    Such a disgusting man .

  3. There is never ever an excuse to threaten someone's family. Regardless of what else has gone on with either side this is wrong. Kids do not need to be dragged into this mess. This is not fair and way below the belt.

  5. I agree I think these app developers need to wake up and not associate with A4 and Gary James. Because by supporting him they are supporting his behavior and actions. There are plenty of other nonprofits and sn communities they can support that are legit.By supporting him its making them look bad and I for one might stop supporting them if it continues.

  6. Wow... that is really all I can say. I am speechless.

  7. What? What? This train wreck just exploded. Where are this man's lawyers and why are they not telling him to stop digging the hole deeper? He is at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and still keeps digging. Insanity. Stay strong mamas.

  8. Oh he didn't go there!  He did go there!  Oh my freaking head!  I sooooo hope that the parties involved called the local police and also report this all to the CT AG's office as he has truly lost his mind now!  You do not threaten anyone!  He clearly has either a whole lot to lose and is grasping at straws and not using even a single brain cell or is simply psychotic and admittable!

  9. What people do not get is that there are absolutely two sides to this man, this did not shock me because I have seen this side very well before.
I am sure many that are still on that site are saying that he would never treat them in this way but the moment that they ask questions about this or that or call foul on something that is promised but is not delivered they will watch the gates of hell blow open and his true character shine through.
Until then all we can do is wait for more to actually ask questions about the things that their gut tells them are not right.

  11. The bar was lowered last night, FAR below anything he has EVER done.

  12. This does need to be reported. He is making threats here. And he must be an awfully stupid man to put these disgraceful thoughts onto a social media network for all to see. I hope someone is printing off and filing this!

  17. I'm confused? Where does it state that this man wants to take this mothers children? It does look like the mother is calling him out...example "I'm feeling froggy, what about you?".

    ReplyDelete
  18. It seems more like a factual statement that if you are in the process of adopting children, it would not be in your best interest to be involved in a lawsuit.

  19. Just horrendous. To make a threat using someone's children. Despicable.

  20. This from the man who constantly accuses others of harassment and of creating drama??? I have witnessed these exchanges and can tell you exactly WHO is doing the harassing! Disgusting!!!

  21. The only way to stop him is to report him to ic3.gov the FBI's internet crime branch.  I definitely interpreted his comments as a threat.  It's hard enough having special needs kids without having to be subjected to crap like this.  I left the page too, as much as I want apps for my kids, I will not support a terrorist.

  22. Interpretation taken differently by me.
I am not a mother of a special needs child, but a law student at John Carroll University. I am doing research into Internet scams. I have been following this story since last year, and find it very interesting. Since I am able to take out all emotion and see it from a outsiders point a view, it does come across differently than what is presented in this blog. From what I see also in other social medias, there is a underlying personal issues at play also.
Just my personal opinion of course, and knowledge of the law. What interests me the most, and have seen it mentioned is that the AG has taking no action. Anytime any claims are filed, a case will be opened and investigated. After this period of time, action would have been taken by AG office.
There are some parents that are building cases against themselves with harassment also, take caution parents. This could quickly turn around with the proper authorities charging you.

    1. Speaking as an attorney just being a law student you don't just add "the law" to something and act like you have some authority. Just sayin.

    2. I have stated this is also my opinion and observations.

  23. Just wanted to add the link to the conversation I was having with him during the fiasco. This is unedited and published through an independent third party. http://twitter.theinfo.org/166713485424721920#id166749276163162113

  24. Wow.  I'm sorry you asked a simple and intelligent question and were attacked for it.  It's what these ladies have gone thru, ARE going thru and worse, and what some of us others have gone thru as well the moment we dare to have a thought of our own and ask him.  Quite frankly, with what he's never had issue with saying in public, I've been afraid to call his # that he kept giving us - who knows what he would have felt like saying???

To those of you that still don't believe us - is it that you don't believe, or that you don't like that you may 'miss out' on some apps or a chance at an Ipad - or heaven forbid - a cruise that as of right now, I'm willing to bet there hasn't been passage booked for?  It's a Ponzi/Pyramid scheme.  Of course some people had to get Ipads.  That's how it works.  If no one ever got anything, it would have collapsed ages ago.  Look into it.  You know wer're right.

There are MORE places on the internet and fb to go to for support from special needs parents.  If you've made good friends, honest to goodness good friends - you will stick together on another page as well.  If you fight over A4 - then maybe your friendship wasn't that great.  Many of us have lost who we thought were our friends.  Our real friends stayed.  Please think about it.

  25. Please go to twitter and read the full exchange.  It was HUGE and horribly disgusting.  He not only threatened to block her adoption, he then threated to remove the children after said adoption.  Then he brought another person into it, by name, and asked her if she didn't have adopted children as well.  You can read/view/participate in twitter even if you do not have the ability on your phone.  You can use a laptop or desktop.  No one even has to know you are there reading it.  Complete privacy on your part, so you have nothing and no one to fear.  But then again, this would be one of the reasons he likes to DELETE everything of this manner - to hide from the rest of you, and to hide from developers.  At this moment though, I do believe it is still there in its entirity.

  26. Like I said in previous statement, I have been reading from twitter and facebook.
I really do see high emotions causing some mass hysteria. Very sad.

  27. If you can read the above messages and honestly interpret them as Gary James giving friendly, factual advice to a Twitter follower, then you are exercising truly heroic levels of denial.

Let's leave aside the fact that being involved in a civil (*not* criminal) lawsuit has absolutely nothing to do with your suitability to be an adoptive parent. Together, "Is a4 worth your kids?" and "bye kids" constitute about the least subtle threat I've ever seen someone put to print.

  28. Sorry, I did state this earlier. I have no kids. I am a college student. I have no invested interest to be in denial.
    Why the anger?

  29.  I don't see a law program at John Carrol U? Also, Terry Z would disagree with you regarding the AG case. Interesting though You sound a like someone we know.

  30.  I completely agree, time to bring in the feds!   If any of these children that are being adopted are in the Foster Care system...oh he has just opened up a $hit ball of crap he will wish he had never opened.

  31.  That's "vested interest," just for the record. I wouldn't want you to be embarrassed when you write your thesis on this.
