Just the Facts

Wow, I cannot believe the response my recent blog posts have had. Especially yesterday's.  I cannot believe the comments left!

I started blogging about these issues to hopefully help show other special needs parents the truth about a4cwsn.  To help protect them. I know they probably feel as though they don't need my protection. I disagree. More than ever do I disagree.

For those of you who haven't yet had an opportunity to look at the previous blog posts and comments sections, here are some pretty pictures.  Keep in mind, these are just a few of the comments off just the last blog post (linky-do), this does not include comments from any of  the others.  Gary/his wife's comments are marked with a black square around them. (Please note the first comment where it is confirmed that its Garys wife/Gary- the writing styles and information being posted are too similar to Gary's style to not be him, in my opinion).

 I would like to take this opportunity to ask all of you who have been following my posts to really ask yourself if what is being posted by the "great leader" really makes you feel confident in him? Do you really wish to support someone who can spew out the venomous statements they have made over the course of the past little while?

Do you really condone this behaviour? Do you truly believe it is acceptable?  Let me be clear, I know a4cwsn is not the only person(s) slinging mud.  I don't think anyone of us will or has tried to deny that we've gotten hot under the collar and lost our tempers a bit, facts are facts. You can't deny the truth.  Frankly, the only person I see trying to deny the truth would be a4cwsn.

Some of these woman have been threatened that a4cwsn would go after their livelihoods, their job licenses-yet I know particularly of one, who has not engaged him at all.

We have had our names publicly posted numerous times (including yesterday on my blog- the comment was removed by me, on facebook, and twitter again as well), and he has told people to watch out for scams from us.  I'd like to ask what scams exactly? We aren't collecting money from anyone for anything.  We are a group of special needs parents who support each other.  I'm having a hard time figuring out how that could or would be considered a scam ????

What is Cyber Bullying/Harassment?

What is cyber bullying and harassment? I am going to take some time today to show you exactly what it is.
First, let's go through the definition and all that fun stuff.

Cyberbullying is the use of the Internet and related technologies to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner.[1] As it has become more common in society, particularly among young people, legislation and awareness campaigns have arisen to combat it.- Wiki of course!
Harassment by computer is a crime in several U.S. states (see computer crime). It is distinct from stalking in that stalking typically requires two or more contacts, whereas harassment by computer may be a single incident. It is also different from regular harassment, because the offence typically encompasses a range of crimes that would not be considered harassment if conducted in person.
Connecticut was the first state to pass a statute making it a criminal offence to harass someone by computer. Michigan, Arizona, and Virginia have also passed laws banning harassment by electronic means.[1][2]
Harassment by computer statutes are typically distinct from cyberbullying laws, in that the former usually relates to a person's "use a computer or computer network to communicate obscene, vulgar, profane, lewd, lascivious, or indecent language, or make any suggestion or proposal of an obscene nature, or threaten any illegal or immoral act," while the latter need not involve anything of a sexual nature. - Wiki link, obviously!

I have some more fun pictures to share with you all, so please get comfy and make sure you have your drinks and popcorn!  Two days ago, I put up a blog post (linky-do) Titled A Pattern of Deception?   The blog post is only facts.  No rumours, no hear say.  Lots of pretty pictures.  And I left it up to you, the readers to take from it what you want.
Since that blog post went up, the comments section has gone a little nutso. Which is okay.  I'm not heavy on the moderation, and none of the comments have been removed because well, I have nothing to hide so what would be the point?
Throughout the day I noticed a familiar IP address keep popping up in my email.  You see, I get a notification whenever someone posts a comment and included in that email is their IP address.  Anyone can look up an IP address. It doesn't give you anyone's name of course, but it gives you the area from which someone is posting, and their service provider.  Nothing really exciting.  Another linky-do. Soon, I realised I could link this IP address to a Gary James- ya know, the man behind the computer for a4cwsn.
The following screen shots are of the comments made by one Mr Gary James today on my previous blog post- oh ya, I forgot to mention that he's posting under an assumed name and not as himself.

Now you're probably wondering how I'm able to connect the IP address shown at the bottom of all of these emails to him right? Well, ya see.  I was given this other email which shows his ip address in the email... from him.  Another pretty picture for you all...

If you click on any of the above pictures they will become larger and you can read for yourself the comments that he's posting on my blog, or heck, just click on over and read it right there for yourselves. 

The whole point is, it doesn't seem to matter where I go, facebook, twitter, the blogging world, this dude is right there throwing obscenities at me, and some of my friends.  Yet, he sends ME emails about cyber bullying and tells me to pass it around? (You guessed it! More pretty picture on the way!)

As a side note, now I don't know about anyone else, but I keep seeing this pattern of behaviour.  You know, he calls people out on facebook- they can't respond because they're blocked, he takes down his twitter, and deletes posts from both of those sources,he has been posting on my blog as aspergersmom78, he hands his facebook page over to two woman for a month. Now I'm not saying a4cwsn has something to hide, but one has to wonder why a4 keeps hiding behind women?  

A Pattern of deception?

There have been a lot of questions surrounding a4cwsn lately.  I've done two previous blog posts about the cyber bullying happening : Blog post 1 & Blog post 2.  For those of you who do not understand why there are questions, let me fill you in.  You see, I've been a big supporter of a4cwsn.  I've spent countless hours promoting and taking part in the community there. As soon as I had questions regarding transparency though, instead of getting answers, I was banned from the page. You see, myself and some others noticed there seem to be a discrepancy in the funds coming in vs the iPads going out.   

I wanted to take this opportunity to show you what has been found upon further investigation about a4cwsn.

For the past couple of months, if you've been on a4cwsn's facebook page, or seen the posts on twitter, you would know that it's been said they are getting non-profit status,  It has been assumed by many that a4cwsn HAS or is GETTING a non profit status.  They are not, and will not be getting this status. Linky-do- Plug in a4cwsn and see what comes up.

Have you heard of N4cwsn? No? Well, I bet at the very least, the name looks and sounds familiar.

It should, it's a4cwsn's other website. 

N4cwsn = Nannies for children with Special needs. 

So you're probably asking yourself why am I blogging about it? What does it have to do with a4cwsn? Well, let me show you what it has to do with a4cwsn.  

You see, there are these logo's on his n4cwsn website:

Directly above both logo's it reads "Connecticut Domestics is a member of  and or  listed with the following organizations." One is for the International Nannies Association. However, upon further investigation, it turns out that N4cwsn is NOT a member of this association. Linky-do

The other logo is that for the BBB.  Again, it would lead people to believe that he is BBB Accredited. Again, if you search, you will discover he's not.  Linky-do

Now, you tell me, is there a pattern of deception?

Edited to add, upon even Further investigation, more links on his website with no mention of N4cwsn/Connecticut Domestics, LLC.

On his website he lists the NAEYC, but upon searching their catalogues for both business names, nothing has come up.   Linky-do - Enter CT as the state, and nothing comes up under either name.

So, I got an email this morning.

Dear Tiffany   :

In accordance with the law of the state of Connecticut, I hereby demand that you cease and desist the false and defamatory statements that you are making about me in your e-mail postings and on Twitter, Facebook, Internet blogs, and in other public places.  You made them maliciously to injure me and cause harm to my business relationships.  I hereby demand that you publish a retraction of these false and defamatory statements in all the same places that you published your defamatory statements about me, and that your retraction and correction be accompanied by a specific repudiation of your libelous statements.Your Twitter, Facebook, Internet blogs, and other public postings and conduct also constitute tortuous interference with my business and contractual relationships. As such, they are actionable and expose you to the imposition of compensatory as well as punitive damages.Among other things, you have publicly accused me of: (1) stealing money; (2) using money donated to help special needs children for my own personal expenses; (3) being a computer “hacker”; (4) committing adultery; and other similar statements that are completely false.Many of these false statements have been previously brought to your attention. Your failure to correct your erroneous and false statements and their repetition after notice of their falsehood constitutes further publication of libel. It also confirms your malicious intent.
Your attempts to spread libelous and defamatory material about me have caused serious and irreparable injury to me, my reputation, and negatively affected by business relationships.  I will not stand by and allow this misconduct to continue.I have no interest in restricting legitimate free speech, and I believe that the Internet is an important medium for dissemination of accurate and truthful information and for fair comment on issues of interest.  Your activities, however, unlawfully encroach upon my rights.I hereby demand that you:
1.              Immediately remove from Twitter, Facebook, and any/all of your blogs, websites and other public places on the Internet and elsewhere any and all defamatory and disparaging remarks regarding me made by you.
2.              Immediately cease and desist publishing further defamatory statements about me, whether such statements are made by you or third parties.

The statements made in reference to me are utterly false and without merit, and they are defamation per se in that they depict me as engaging in fraudulent activity that violates civil and criminal law.

If you fail to comply with this demand by January 31, 2012, I will have no choice but to turn this matter over to legal counsel, and direct that they pursue all legal causes of action, including the filing of a lawsuit to protect my interests.  I will pursue both damages and attorneys’ fees and costs incurred by me as a result of your actions.

I look forward to your public retraction.

Now... am I crazy or did I name a Gary James? I've mentioned an a4cwsn (a FACEBOOK page), no Gary James. 
I also said nothing related to fraud in my previous blog post or adultery. Or maybe I'm just blind?  Seems like someone is a little upset that he cannot silence us special needs parents who see his bullying for what it is.   I will never cease and desist in posting what I believe to be true and factual things.

so, I haven't blogged in forever, but I need to get this out.

I'm so sad to report, that no longer can I support a4cwsn.

Unfortunately there has been a lot of online bullying recently :(
This bullying has been personally directed at myself and others. My personal email account has been posted on facebook AND twitter, and the cell phone number of another now ex-member of a4cwsn.

Let me explain, you see, some of us longer standing members, and biggest supporters started to ask questions regarding transparency. Instead of answering those questions, a4cwsn became defensive and rude. We were banned from the page. Posts would go up calling us to post, but of course we couldn't reply.

Then there was a "blacklist" ? I guess posted. Where again, my email was posted. Please note, that the emails that apparently I sent? They don't exist. Along with these posts, it was posted that everyone who followed the page should block, report and watch out for those of us who made the list for SCAMS!

Now again, on twitter today, another LIST has been created. If you search his handle, its under his lists. I'm sure you can all find it, and don't need me to post pictures.

Now, I don't know about you, but I've always been under the impression that if there is nothing to hide, why be scared to share?

On top of all of this, I have suddenly had my computer hacked twice. My personal email account, and have had multiple failed tries for someone to get into my facebook account. (My security is high, and I get a text message when someone tries to login!)

It's odd how us parents of special needs kiddos are always there advocating and protecting our children.  Never do we think within our special community would we come across such outrageous actions, and bullying.  We need to remember that while yes, we would do everything for our children, we would fly to the moon and back if we could, that we need to protect ourselves, and our friends and family within this community.  Unfotunately, though we do not like to admit it, we are a vulnerable bunch.  When something is dangled in front of our faces that we so desperately want for our children, we would do just about anything.  We need to remember to think rationally, and question. And hey, who knows better than to question, question and question some more than us?
